The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has delayed enforcement until November 1st for the new rules on employer injury reporting policies, post-accident drug testing, and incentive programs. Two business groups have brought suit against the proposed rule. However, the new rule’s electronic reporting requirements and OSHA’s expansion of the definition of a recordable injury continues, regardless of the pending legal challenge. The Rule’s provisions may survive as proposed by OSHA or may be struck down, but it’s likely that some aspects will be upheld, and some of the requirements make sense.
In this webinar, we will discuss the outcomes of the challenges and options for changes. We’ll also review compliance with the injury and illness recordkeeping requirements.
