Mark J. Beutler Joins Fisher Phillips Fort Lauderdale Office as Of Counsel
FT LAUDERDALE, FL (June 18, 2014) – Mark J. Beutler has joined Fisher Phillips, a nationwide law firm representing employers in labor and employment matters, as Of Counsel in its Fort Lauderdale office. Beutler focuses his practice on representing clients in labor disputes, discrimination and wage-and-hour litigation as well as in commercial litigation, and is board certified in labor and employment.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Beutler was an Associate Attorney with Duane Morris in Miami. He also served as an employment lawyer at Epstein Becker Green. He has more than 20 years of legal experience including serving as a staff attorney at the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation where he represented nonunion employees in class actions and other civil actions against labor unions. He also handled matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the National Mediation Board (NMB) and state labor boards.
Before entering law school, Beutler was a Certified Public Accountant, having worked with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Edwards Berger Harris & Co.
Beutler received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1991 and his LL.M. from Columbia University in 1995 where he concentrated in First Amendment litigation. Additionally, he earned his M.B.A. from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL, and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia.
