Louisville Lawyer Talks to Business Journal about Legal Considerations for Reopening Restaurants
As restaurants across Kentucky begin to ramp back up, it is vital that these establishments think through the legal issues that may arise when reopening their doors. In an interview with Louisville Business First, Emily Litzinger predicted that the top three COVID-related workplace issues for restaurants will involve workplace safety, wage and hour issues and employee leave.
Emily provides examples of employment law scenarios that she and her clients have witnessed first-hand. Ultimately, she recommends that employers should “[b]e a little more flexible, understanding there’s a completely new landscape of running a business and there are various potential issues with your employees that could be out there.”
