A Modern Approach to Harassment Prevention
250 West St, Suite 400
Columbus, Ohio 43215
Harassment complaints have steadily climbed, and in the #MeToo era, employees expect their employers to do more about them. This increase tells us that policies and traditional training alone are doing little to prevent harassment from occurring in the first place. As a result, employers should rethink their approach to harassment prevention.
Please join Samuel Lillard and Mathew Parker to learn the tools for building an effective harassment prevention program. During this program they will discuss topics such as the role of workplace culture, implicit bias and bystander training, protocols for addressing employee concerns, and team building to foster psychological safety among employees. A program built around these principles will help employers to do more than just comply with the law – it will reinforce the notion that everyone plays a critical role in preventing harassment and creating a successful workplace culture, and will empower employees with the tools to do so.
In order to facilitate a cost-effective rollout in the workplace, this workshop is built around a train-the-trainer model. Attendees will be taught the material as well as best practices to deliver the training in their own workplaces.
This event will take place at the Fisher Phillips Columbus office location. Lunch will be provided and parking in the Cinema Garage will be validated.
$850.00 per attendee
$350.00 for multiple attendees from the same organization
