ATLANTA, GA (March 28, 2016) – Fisher Phillips partner Jessica Cook has been selected to participate in the 2016 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program.
Now in its sixth year, LCLD's landmark Fellows Program identifies high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds and sets them on the path to leadership in their organizations. Law firms nominate attorneys for the program, with LCLD making the final selections.
“We have made diversity a cornerstone of Fisher Phillips and were pleased to recognize Jessica’s hard work by nominating her for this prestigious honor,” said Roger Quillen, Chairman & Managing Partner of Fisher Phillips. “It was fitting that LCLD chose Jessica for this year’s class. Members of the LCLD Fellows Program are rising stars in their firms and that certainly is true of Jessica, who continues to impress us and our clients.”
Founded in 2009, LCLD has grown to an organization of more than 250 members who serve as either general counsel of major corporations or managing partners of the nation's leading law firms. They are united by a spirit of activism and personal commitment, lead by example, taking action and challenging the legal profession to prepare future generations of diverse talent for the highest positions of leadership.
“I’m honored to have been selected to represent Fisher Phillips in this highly respected organization,” said Cook. “I look forward to sharing this invaluable experience with the 227 attorneys that make up the largest class yet of LCLD Fellows.”
