Fisher Phillips Receives Lawyers of Color’s 2023 Industry Leader Diversity Award

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that the firm has received Lawyers of Color’s 2023 Industry Leader Diversity Award. Fisher Phillips is one of 28 law firms in the U.S. identified as an industry leader.

Lawyers of Color considers three criteria for its Diversity Awards. Law firms that satisfy all three of the following, receive the Industry Leader Diversity Award:

• Have at least one staff member with the word “equity,” “diversity,” or “inclusion” in their title.
• Meet the identified required number of attorneys of color who are managing partner, executive/management committee member, or practice group head.
• Satisfy a specific threshold regarding the percentage of Black attorneys.

Lawyers of Color is a 501(c)(3) devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities.  They celebrate attorneys of color and conduct research and studies regarding the intersection of the legal profession and social justice. LOC has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association, and National Association of Black Journalists.
