Tam represents employers in a variety of employment cases, including claims for harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. He also counsels employers on a variety of workplace issues and assists with the development of employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
While in law school, Tam represented tech startups and small businesses on formation, banking regulations, and employment issues through the Startup and Small Business Clinic. He also served as the Symposium Chair and Style Editor for UC Irvine Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law. The American Arbitration Association also selected Tam as a Diversity Fellow for their competitive Alternative Dispute Resolution Fellowship in New York.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Tam served as a business advisor to a non-profit that delivered PPE to hospitals across the country during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of a 501(c)(3) tech company that supports Minority-Owned restaurants and food-insecure individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
