Thomas Vogliano is an associate in the firm’s Seattle office. His practice is devoted to advising and representing employers in all areas of labor and employment law. He has successfully defended both public and private sector employers in matters brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Washington Law Against Discrimination. He also counsels his clients on issues related to employee handbooks, policy development, management training, wage and hour compliance, employment contracts, and employee separation. Thomas prides himself on giving thoughtful and practical advice and defending his clients’ good faith decisions with meticulous and strategic advocacy.

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, he practiced as an Assistant Attorney General in the Washington Attorney General’s Office, representing the Department of Labor and Industries on myriad issues impacting employers. During his tenure, he was honored with a William V. Tanner Award from Attorney General Bob Ferguson, in recognition for his outstanding achievements early in his career. He was also a judicial law clerk to Chief Justice Mary Fairhurst at the Washington State Supreme Court. During his free time, Thomas enjoys rooting for Gonzaga Basketball and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and young daughter.
