Experience

Reported Cases

Recently, Patrice and Aaron Olsen won a major victory on behalf of a client, Peoplease LLC, in the case William Steve Valencia et al. v. North Star Gas Ltd. Co. et al., 291 F.Supp.3d 1155 (S.D. Cal. 2018). In Valencia, U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel dismissed Peoplease from a proposed class action holding that Peoplease, as North Star’s payroll processing company, was not Plaintiff’s employer under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) or the California Labor Code.
