Overview

Nikki Farley is an associate in the firm's Cleveland office. For more than 10 years, she has counseled employers on human resource and workers’ compensation related issues. Nikki’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense, workplace health and safety, unemployment compensation, and human resource matters.

She also represents and counsels employers on compliance with employment-related laws. Nikki advises employers on handling complex issues such as workplace injuries and exposures, employee leaves, terminations, safety compliance and employee discipline.

Nikki has extensive administrative experience advocating before the Ohio Industrial Commission and Bureau of Workers’ Compensation on a variety of matters such as general claims, medical reimbursement, self-insurance, rate assessments and coverage. She has also counseled clients on workers’ compensation matters in other states.

Nikki’s diverse experience encompasses a variety of employment-related issues including intentional tort, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) citations and compliance, retaliation, grievances and workers’ compensation.

Nikki represents an array of businesses nationwide including companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, temporary staffing, construction, and services industries.

Nikki presents at training seminars for legal and human resource representatives on issues involving workers’ compensation claims management, interplay between various federal laws and workers’ compensation, workplace health and safety, and self-insurance compliance.
