Michael Bohling is an associate in the Tampa office. He maintains a labor and employment practice representing employers in state and federal courts, as well as before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other state and federal agencies.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Michael gained legal experience at national and regional law firms, working exclusively on labor and employment matters. He also completed an externship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, learning public sector labor and employment law in a workforce with more than 240,000 employees.
Michael has also worked in labor relations at Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts, UTC Aerospace Systems, and L.M. Sessler Wrecking – a leading demolition company. Through these experiences, he has served CBA negotiations for contracts covering 27,000 employees, advocated for companies with over 40,000 union members, and has been the lead personnel contact for multi-million dollar projects.
Michael earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School. He earned his B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
