Jeff Winchester is Of Counsel in the Seattle office. With more than 20 years of experience, including five years as in-house counsel, he has represented employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. As a member of the Firm’s Immigration Practice Group, Jeff assists clients in bringing international talent for clients in the technology, eSports, and other industries to the United States on a variety of visas, including H-1B, P-1, O-1, and others.  Jeff has helped clients with I-9 reviews, ICE audits, and Social Security Administration no-match letters.  Jeff has published an article on strategies for responding to Social Security no-match letters. He also assists clients with outbound immigration of workers from the United States to countries around the world.

Following law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable David M. Ebel of the Tenth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jeff was a university professor in Tokyo, and he is proficient in Japanese.
