Judd E. Cohen
Judd Cohen is an associate in the firm's Portland office. Judd’s practice focuses on representing private and public sector employers in labor negotiations, labor arbitrations, and administrative hearings. He also advises and provides training to employers on the interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and other traditional labor matters.
Judd graduated magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. During his final year of law school he worked as a legal extern with Region 8 of the National Labor Relations Board, gaining a deeper understanding of how the Labor Board functions. While in Law School he served as Executive Notes Editor of the International Law Journal and was awarded Note of the Year for his student note. Judd was also awarded the Littler Mendelson Labor Law Award for his achievements in Labor Law while in law school. Prior to law school, Judd gained considerable bargaining and grievance administration experience while working for a healthcare focused Union – District 1199J. His prior labor experience gives him an important understanding into how unions handle bargaining and contract administration.
