Joe Dietrich is an associate in the San Diego office. He advises and defends employers in all aspects of employment law and litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, and other employment-related matters. He also counsels clients on compliance with privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) both as to employee and consumer data protection.
Joe graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Environmental Law Journal and a board member of the Moot Court Competition Team. As a member of the Moot Court Competition Team, he was a champion of the Tulane Sports Law Competition, where his team also won Best Brief, and was a finalist at the National Moot Court Competition. Joe’s experience in Moot Court led to his desire to be an accomplished litigator.
Joe’s drive to act as a zealous advocate for his clients stems from his experience as an athlete. While earning his undergraduate degree, he was a member of the UC San Diego Men’s Water Polo team. During his collegiate career as a student-athlete, he reached the NCAA Final Four in Division I Men’s Water Polo twice and was named a Division I All-American.
