Gabriela Fuentes is an associate in the firm’s Irvine office. Her practice includes counseling and defending employers in all areas of labor and employment matters.
Gabriela earned her J.D. from Fowler School of Law at Chapman University with an emphasis in Alternative Dispute Resolution. During her time at Fowler School of Law, Gabriela received significant hands-on experience in litigation. She was a member of the Elder Law Clinic where she served as first chair in a conservatorship bench trial before the Honorable Gerald G. Johnston. Gabriela also successfully represented an employer in the trucking industry before the Labor Commissioner in a wage and hour dispute. She was a semi-finalist in the school’s moot court competition and was invited to join the team as a first-year student.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Gabriela was awarded a fellowship with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). During her tenure as a fellow, she gained invaluable insight of all facets of the litigation process, working for both a defense firm and a plaintiff firm. She completed the ABOTA fellowship by serving as a judicial extern for the Honorable James L. Crandall in the Orange County Superior Court of California.
