Gavin Carpenter is an associate in the Philadelphia office. His practice focuses on representing management in a wide range of employment law matters, with a particular focus on defending against claims of discrimination. He also handles matters involving restrictive covenant and trade secrets issues, including both litigating and advising clients on enforcement or defense of non-competition agreements and other post-termination restrictive covenants.
Gavin graduated from Boston College Law School, where he was an active member in the law school’s student government, the Law School Student’s Association (LSA). While a member of the LSA, Gavin served as a 3L Representative, as well as a member of the Special Events Committee. Prior to joining Fisher & Phillips, Gavin worked at an Am Law 100 law firm in Boston, MA where he worked in the firm’s labor and employment department.
While in law school, Gavin was a member of the law school’s LGBT organization, LAMBDA. He is a member of the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association, and the Fisher & Phillip’s LGBT Affinity Group.
