Bayan Salehi is an associate in the Irvine office. Bayan represents employers on a wide range of employment issues including Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) actions, class actions, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and other employment related claims in state court, federal court, and administrative agencies. His practice also includes counseling employers on workplace policies and procedures, including the preparation and drafting of employee handbooks.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Bayan worked in a paralegal capacity at a national labor and employment defense firm, implementing his economics background to analyze client data and provide strategic assessments to complex employment actions. In the process, Bayan worked with attorneys on all phases of the litigation process, from the initial complaint to document discovery, depositions, expert discovery, and trial preparation.
Bayan earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Bayan served in Loyola Law School’s Employment Rights Clinic, where he mediated employment retaliation claims filed with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. While in law school, Bayan was also the Vice-President of the Iranian Law Students Association. In his free time, Bayan enjoys racing cars and coaching drivers at circuits across the western region.
